WE LIVE WITH COMPASSION
Our Projects
A Matter of the Heart
The foundation is based in Essen, and we want to help right here in our own backyard. That’s why it makes sense that many of the projects we support are located in the Ruhr region and in the immediate vicinity along the Lower Rhine. However, there are also worthy projects throughout the state that we support.
We don’t turn a blind eye; instead, we strive to provide assistance where it seems most urgent, most important, and most meaningful to us.
These are key criteria in our selection of projects. However, what matters even more to us is the personal impression we form—not just at the start of a grant, but on an ongoing basis. In particular, projects that receive regular funding are closely supported by the freddy fischer foundation.
On the one hand, because they are so close to our hearts. On the other hand, because even matters close to our hearts need oversight.
We take this oversight role seriously and regularly request updates on how our grant funds are being used and on the progress of projects.
This makes it all the more important for the funded organizations that we remain available to them as a reliable long-term partner. The freddy fischer foundation has been supporting numerous projects for many years and will continue this support in accordance with the foundation’s mission. There are also many projects that have received one-time support from the foundation.
Through our projects, we aim to make the world a little bit better. We’d like to introduce these projects to you here and continue to count on your support, true to our motto: Doing good together!
