WE LIVE WITH COMPASSION

Working together for a better future

A message from Freddy Fischer

With heart and commitment for a future worth living.

The future comes from optimism. Optimism is the driving force in a world that seems to have fallen apart. Let’s stride optimistically into the future… with our best wishes 💚🍀

The Ruhr region—my home—was once the heart of industry. Today, it stands as a symbol of change, courage, and community. Yet this profound transformation also brings challenges: unemployment, social insecurity, and a lack of prospects shape the lives of many families. Children, young people, and the elderly feel these changes most acutely.

As an entrepreneur, a father, and a native of this region, the well-being of the next generation—and of our older generation—is deeply important to me.

That is why I established the freddy fischer foundation in 2008. Our foundation stands for compassion, genuine support, and the firm belief that everyone has a right to hope, dignity, and a bright future.

Our goals and projects:

We are passionately committed to child and youth welfare, education, personal development, and equal opportunity. We support sports initiatives such as the boxing program at the and at No Mercy Gym in Moers—places that offer young people stability, self-confidence, and new perspectives. Through the AlltagsLächeln project at the Johannes-Rau-Haus in Moers, we bring joy and personal attention to senior citizens. Because a kind word, a shared moment, a genuine smile—all of these can make the daily lives of older people brighter and warmer.

We are committed to protecting and promoting our democracy, for example through the democracy projects in Duisburg-Hochfeld or at the Freie Schule Essen e.V. in Essen-Katernberg. Children and young people are taught democratic values such as respect, participation, and co-determination—so that they can shape their future with confidence and take an active role.

Through our involvement with the Impact-Factory in Duisburg and the startup goava in Essen, we support young entrepreneurs who, with their ideas, not only strive for economic success but also actively promote the common good and climate protection.

Our vision:

  • A community that sticks together—across generations.
  • A world in which every child, every young person, and every senior is seen, heard, and supported.
  • A planet we preserve—with courage, mindfulness, and responsibility.

Our invitation to you: Join us on this journey! Whether through donations, partnerships, or personal involvement, together we can shape the future, offer hope, and overcome social injustice.

With best wishes for the future of our children, our seniors, and our community.
